A Taste of Tradition with Hibachi Noodles

Savor the rich flavors and delightful textures of traditionally hibachi noodles, an ideal dish for gatherings that brings a taste of Japan to any table.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces yakisoba or udon noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 1 bell pepper sliced into strips
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables such as carrots, snow peas, and broccoli
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce optional
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook the noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced onions and bell pepper, sautéing for about 3-4 minutes until softened.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and mixed vegetables, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing them with the vegetables.
  • Pour in the soy sauce, sesame oil, and oyster sauce, if using, tossing everything together.
  • Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing everything to heat through and meld together.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
