Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
In a baking dish, place the block of feta in the center and surround it with the cherry tomatoes and minced garlic.
Drizzle olive oil over the feta and tomatoes, then season with salt and black pepper.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until the feta is soft and the tomatoes are bursting.
While the feta and tomatoes are baking, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
Once the feta and tomatoes are done, remove from the oven and use a fork to mash them together until creamy.
Add the cooked pasta to the baking dish and mix well, incorporating the feta-tomato sauce.
If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen it up.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil and additional seasoning if desired.
