Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce
  • Flaked sea salt for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla to the butter-sugar mixture, and mix until combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the salted caramel sauce until evenly distributed.
  • Scoop tablespoons of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of flaked sea salt on top of each cookie before baking.
  • Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
