Ingredients

  • 2 cans of crescent roll dough
  • 1 pound of Italian sausage
  • 1 cup of marinara sauce
  • 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned.
  • Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for a few minutes until everything is well combined.
  • Remove the skillet from heat and stir in 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and 1/4 cup of Parmesan.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and lay it out in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, pressing the seams together to form a crust.
  • Spoon the sausage mixture evenly over the crescent roll base.
  • Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
