Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs panko preferred
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking oil for frying or baking

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  • Cut the chicken breasts into tender-sized strips.
  • Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of breadcrumbs, Parmesan, minced garlic, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
  • Dredge each chicken strip in the flour, shaking off excess, then dip it into the egg, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.
  • For baking, place the breaded strips on a greased baking sheet. For frying, heat the oil in the pan and carefully add the chicken.
  • Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
