Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Prepare the crust by mixing graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  • Blend cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time and mix until just combined.
  • Stir in vanilla extract and cocoa powder.
  • Pour the cheesecake batter into the prepared crust.
  • Bake in preheated oven for about 1 hour.
  • Turn off the oven and crack the door to cool for 1 hour.
  • Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  • Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and top the cheesecake.
